7 Ways to Enjoy Soft Shell Crabs On Hutson Alley

Mar 28, 2019

Soft shell season is upon us and there is no other place to enjoy softies than Hutson Alley. Check out our 7 favorite ways to enjoy soft shell crab this season!

Coast Bar and Grill is offering a different soft shell crab variation every night. We are loving Coast’s traditional fried soft shell crab with fries; it’s the straight to the point and with a side of cole slaw, this special meal feels like home! Often we think of frying softies but this grilled soft shell crab and wedge salad is a combination that has us coming back for more. Bonus: We also hear that Coast will be whipping up some fried soft shell crab tacos this weekend. (Fingers Crossed!)

39 Rue de Jean has us saying ‘Oh La La’! We can’t help but to love this pan fried soft shell crab, charred corn maque choux, roasted green tomato coulis, aleppo butter dinner appetizer.

Virginia’s on King is pulling out all the stops by this season by offering a lunch, dinner, and brunch soft shell crab special. Grab a soft shell pimento BLT for lunch, fried soft shell crab with stone ground grits for dinner, and a soft shell crab benedict for Saturday and Sunday brunch!

Michael’s on the Alley, Victor Social Club, and Vincent Chicco’s are inviting you to try their milanese style soft shell crab served with sugar snap peas, watermelon radish, spring onion, fennel, celery, and olive oil.

Grab a friend and get to either of these locations to enjoy a softie lover’s paradise on Hutson Alley!
