It’s that time of year where the arts consume Charleston: Piccolo Spoleto! Every year, this iconic festival brings visitors from across the world to share in the artistic expression of musicians, artists, playwrights, and more. Even Lowcountry restaurants and the best cocktail bars in Charleston get caught up in the excitement. Spoleto Sips is a festival-long campaign where cocktail bars fashion a drink inspired by one of the festival’s performers. Victor Social Club created the “Victor Virelles” in honor of Cuban Jazz Artist David Virelles’ concerts at the Simons Center Recital Hall. The cocktail is the ultimate example of “sweet heat” with jalapeno-infused tequila, St. Germain, and strawberry.
