Holy Hospitality at Taste of Hutson Alley 2019

Twice a year, folks near and far gather for a night full of festive cocktails and mouth-watering bites in one of Charleston’s most talked about back alleys. During Taste of Hutson Alley, Holy City Hospitality lines the cobblestone streets with some of their finest cuisine from Coast Bar and Grill, Michael’s on the Alley, 39 Rue De Jean, The Victor Social Club, Vincent Chicco’s, Virginia’s on King and Good Food Catering.

If you’re unfamiliar with this group of Charlestonian’s favorite restaurants, you should know each establishment brings something very different to the dinner table.

Coast Bar and Grill delivers some of the best seafood in Charleston, which we know is full of stiff competition. During Taste of Hutson Alley, they’ll be serving up Shrimp Ceviche with avocado mousse.

However, the seemingly endless bites don’t stop there. Award winning French brasserie known as 39 Rue De Jean will be serving a Cupcake Sushi Roll that features spicy tuna, mango jalapeno, cream cheese, kanikama, Japanese mayo, kani salad and sweet chili.

On the other end of the cobblestone alley, The Victor’s Social Club will be gracing you with Mexican Street Corn Dogs with wagyu hot dog, cotija cheese and lime. Feel free to wash it down with the glass of champagne that greets you at the entrance, craft beer from Edmund’s Oast Brewery or wine from Republic National Distributing Company.

We also can’t forget the buffalo mozzarella ravioli with mushroom ragout from Vincent Chicco’s, shrimp and grits from Virginia’s on King and the ultimate dessert from Good Food Catering consisting of key lime pie and chocolate tartlets, mini pecan pies and carrot bites.

Don’t think the entertainment stops after touring the various chef-attended food stations, there will also be live music from Lauren Hall Trio.

Plan to mark your calendars for May 9th at 6pm and buy your tickets here for $65. The main entrance will be located beside Charleston Music Hall’s main entrance on 37 John Street, while you can find parking conveniently located nearby at the Camden Exchange Parking Garage or the Visitors Center Parking Garage.
