Divine conversation, delectable bites and refreshing cocktails were just a few highlights you could find guests boasting about after Taste of Hutson Alley this May. The fan-favorite event hosted by Holy City Hospitality proved to be another hit within the Charleston community by providing locals and tourists alike with a taste of true southern hospitality, which we all know isn’t possible without great food, eclectic atmosphere and of course a champagne tower upon your arrival.

 

Delighted guests could not stop gushing about the tasty ceviche that was just light enough to easily enjoy seconds and beef-sliders so exquisite that the line reached halfway through the alley. As folks lined up for their sliders, most couldn’t resist the nearby Mexican Street Corn, which was given an interesting twist by Victor’s Social Club by replacing the corn with a wagyu beef hotdog smothered in cotija cheese and lime – a brilliant spin that spiked quite a bit of interest amongst the crowd.

Tourists and locals who attended the event were entertained by the sweet musings of the Lauren Hall Trio, who certainly did not disappoint. As the wine and spirits from local vendors continued to pour, guests were serenaded with summer classics from the local musicians of the featured band all evening long.

While old friends conversed and new acquaintances connected, another spring season featuring Taste of Hutson Alley has passed and Holy City Hospitality can’t wait to host the folks of their favorite city again later this year.
