The Islander, which is Holy City Hospitality’s first venture off the Charleston peninsula, is nearing the end of its renovations of the former Queen Anne’s Revenge restaurant at 160-B Fairchild St. The Islander, which has been upfitted with an event room and a spacious indoor-outdoor bar, is expected to open in the next few weeks, according to its Facebook page.

Holy City Hospitality also manages six downtown restaurants, including 39 Rue de Jean and Coast. Last week, Mayor Joe Riley helped it cut the ribbon to its recently opened Hutson Alley projects made up of Vincent Chicco’s, Victor Social Club and Michael’s on the Alley.
